Digitalization in medicine is part of the future of academic medicine. This fact is also taken into account in teaching. Since teaching is always research-led, the theoretical foundations and concepts of learning must also be discussed. The implementation of digital medicine represents an opportunity to bridge the gap and promote good interprofessional collaboration. We consider this interprofessionality to be central to our field, as is good network management. The applications presented here and their teaching in the classroom lead to a discussion of thought and reflection processes in interprofessional work, which in turn leads to greater job satisfaction and patient satisfaction.
