Successful C³NMH Symposium on Digitalization and New AI Technologies in Neurosciences

The symposium Digitalization and new AI technologies in Neurosciences was held on June 7 in cooperation with the meeting of the Section for Neurosurgery Oncology in the lecture hall center. More than one hundred visitors attended the event. The topics discussed met with great interest from both the audience and the media!

The “Meets the Experts Session,” moderated by Wolfgang Schiefer, was particularly well received: The panel of experts, including Georg Langs (MedUni Vienna), Alexandra Ebert (Mostly AI), and Sandra Köszegi (AI Advisory Board of the Austrian Federal Government, among others), covered the relevant sub-areas of digitalization and AI at a high level and highlighted many new perspectives. Afterwards, the panel of experts answered numerous questions from the highly interested audience in a discussion.

The keynote lecture by Prof. Todd Hollon (University of Michigan) on digital histology and novel AI approaches also aroused great interest.

Further interesting presentations in the field of digitalization & AI with a focus on neurosurgery rounded off the extremely successful event.
